Orly Konig
The Challenge
Develop a new logo, website and print materials for fiction author Orly Konig. The author wanted a logo that was express and fun and also wanted to somehow incorporate dandelions into her new online and print presence. Not only were dandelions in a book she was currently writing, she was attracted to them visually and symbolically. Dandelion seeds, symbolic of making a wish, wander and travel in the wind, are resilient and can grow anywhere.
My Solution
By creating custom illustrations, I was able to be more creative with how the dandelion theme was carried throughout Orly’s suite of materials—dandelion seeds transforming into books, dandelion seeds floating over a cat, dandelion seeds dancing with the steam of a hot latté, etc.
